A Dreamy Coastal Engagement Session
I was ecstatic to see that I had a couple traveling from Austin down to Corpus Christi to take engagement photos on the beach. Karla & I talked about her vision, what she wants from her session & the overall feel to her engagements. I was in love with the vision from the start & was so excited for their session.
Their vision was simple yet profound: to capture the sweet and timeless moments they shared against the backdrop of the Gulf Coast. They longed for images that reflected stolen glances, tender embraces, and the raw emotion of their love story.
Karla said she felt an instant connection to my storytelling approach and keen eye for detail. They knew I was the perfect photographer to bring their vision to life; of which I’m so grateful! I am always happy to help document everything, down to footprints on the sand.

From the moment we met, it was clear that these two were best friends. Their love was something truly special. We spent time getting to know each other, as I drove us onto the beach on Mustang Island. I was able to meet them both & feel out their unique personalities, preferences, and love story. This personalized approach allowed us to create images that authentically reflected who they were as individuals and as a couple.
We started over on the shore, then made our way to the rocks on the Jetties, and ended up laying down in the wet sand. Throughout the session, Karla + Efran’s love radiated effortlessly, illuminating every frame with warmth and sincerity. Against the backdrop of Corpus Christi's dreamy landscapes, we captured moments that were both beautiful and meaningful, from quiet walks along the shore to playful embraces in the surf. With each click of the shutter, we immortalized their love in a collection of images that would serve as a tangible reminder of this special moment in their journey together.
Although the day was more overcast & windy - the photos turned out dreamy as ever & so crisp & timeless. I love some overcast skies, they really make for such even lighting & beautiful clean pictures.
Karla + Efran’s engagement session surpassed all expectations. It was a testament to the power of love and the magic of Corpus Christi's coastal charm. As they left with hearts full and memories to last a lifetime, they knew that their love story had been beautifully captured—dreamy, sweet, and timeless. And for me, it was an honor to be a part of their unforgettable journey.
